Leonidio is a great destination for cycling which combines all a cyclist wants. It is a place with authentic character, awesome cycling landscapes with exceptional road conditions and mild temperatures. Lastly, the food options we tried were exceeded our expectations.

Leonidio is not flat.Cycling out of the valley, where the town of Leonidio is located, would require from the cyclists to put at least of a 30 – 40 mins effort to climb a 500m uphill road. The usage of an ebike is a great option, that will allow you to enjoy exploring the region while being within your comfort zone.

Apart from the great cycling, Leonidio offers a few great experiences you can enjoy during your off-the-saddle time or on your rest days. Explore the nearby monasteries, the farmland, the women’s association and witness how the olive oil is produced or hear stories about people who lived here 300 years ago. Cycling is over, but exploring never stops!
